Art Jamming - 27th March, Saturday

Sometimes, I think I ought to chat with the artist before I vote.
Especially since I only have one vote to cast.

I voted for the Vespa piece because the first look took my attention and it was very refreshing.

I did see the the Chupa Chups piece but I thought it was just okay, nice.
However, after chatting with the artist, I realised the inspiration of her drawing was rather interesting. She is beginning to learn art and she likes surealism and discovered that Salvador Dali, in 1988 designed the sweet's logo that became an icon in history.
(Salvador Dali -- May 11, 1904 – January 23, 1989, was a prominent Spanish Catalan surrealist painter born in Figueres.)
I asked her why the Chupa Chups was melted, she said it was to reflect surrealist art.
And was the girly-monkey her? Yes. and we both laughed.
